I am writing regarding the song Sweet Home Alabama by Lynrd Skynrd. Please stop putting this song in movies. Especially movies that have nothing to do with Alabama, or even the United States.
Ah. For some reason the American public associates it with Vietnam and war. In the movie I think they were trying to bring back that train of thought. The music bothered you but you didn’t mind the 150 year old canon ball shot into a helicopter. You are one strange guy. :)
I especially liked how the helicopter kept making sweeping passes rather than just hovering in one spot. Its not like they were worried about getting shot with a 150 yr old cannon ball or anything ;)
The last 3rd of the movie was pretty stupid, but I still enjoyed it. Gonna hit up Raising the Titanic from netflix and see if its as good
Well, the one I’m talking about is another Dirk Pitt adventure, which takes place before Sahara. At the beginning of Sahara in that scene panning around Dirk’s office there were newspaper clippings explaining his career. One of them said he raised the Titanic.
