Striving to be more like Christ

I’ve been growing my hair out for some time now.

I hate how unruly my hair gets when it gets long, but my goal was to get a good picture of me looking like Jesus. I don’t really have a good reason for wanting to do this, it’s just that every time I make drastic changes I wish I had documented it in some funny way before losing the ability to. I realize this is stupid, but I figure that it’s as good a motivation for a hairstyle as any. Plus, it’s a great excuse to be lazy in the “shaving” department.

It’s just about time for a haircut, so I present to you my Jesus picture:

I, too, document drastic changes in hair style and length. I have a metric tonne of pics of my recent ‘longest hair ever’ epic journey. I also got a bunch of absurd pics of me trying different hair styles with soaking wet hair that at least temporarily would hold something like a beehive, or something more emo. Once my hair dries out, there’s no styling ability. It just becomes a big ball of fluff. I’ve been meaning to get a Flickr gallery up of the silly fun.

I hope that someday I too will be able to compose my thoughts in such a way that people — at least people familiar enough with me — can tell it is me for some reason other than that I have a tendency to not capitalize sentences and can’t reliably spell "apparantly."
